Operating in a Cashier Environment

  1. All employees should clock in with their unique employee login number for timekeeping/payroll purposes.
  2. After clocking in, immediately touch “cancel” to log out.
  3. Immediately log back in under the cashier ID for that particular terminal.
NOTE

It is extremely important to be sure to ring in all sales under the cashier ID for that particular terminal. The cashier name (ex ToGo Term1) will be listed at the bottom of the screen while in a check, as well as in the background of the dining area screen.

NOTE

It is highly recommended that cashier employees clock in on a terminal that is not being used as a cashier terminal, if possible. This will help ensure sales are rang in under the correct employee ID (The cashier ID for that particular terminal)rather than accidentally rang in under their own name.

NOTE

If any sales are rang in under an employee’s ID instead of the cashier ID for that particular terminal, that employee must check out along with the cashier name for that particular terminal.
