NOTE
This procedure will automatically open a new tab, name this new tab with the name on the credit card, preauthorize the customer’s credit card for the pre-set amount for your establishment while retaining the card info for later use, and place this new tab among other tabs on the tabs screen.
- Ensure you are clocked in as a bartender or manager. How to open a tab
- Ensure your “default” dining area is a tabs screen.
- Touch “quick sale” in the bottom left corner, or skip this step if your system is set to automatically start you in quick sale.
- Order at least one item.
- Touch “Close Check” at the bottom of the screen.
- Touch “Pre-Pay”.
- Swipe the credit card.
