Q. I made a new item, why can’t I find it on the screen?
A. The system updates approx every 2 minutes, so make sure you did sign out at some point for 15 seconds or so. You can also terminate the terminal software from the manager menu and touch relaunch from the onePOS launcher window to manually refresh the terminal. Also, make sure the item you’re looking for has a screen location number on the screens tab. Click Disp along the same row as the screen group you can’t find the item on. The screen group name will be in a drop box to the left on the screens tab in MC, and at the top of the screen in yellow letters on a terminal.
Q. One of my servers entered the wrong amount for a credit card tip, but they have already checked out. How do I fix it?
A. To make changes to tables that were originally handled by an employee that has already run a checkout, first, you need to reopen their checkout (this effectively reverses their most recent checkout that was done ). Have the server sign in, then go to the server menu at the bottom of the table layout screen. Touch “Reopen check”. The server checkout should be listed there. Touch the arrow button next to the checkout and you will get a pop up confirming you want to reopen the checkout. Make the change(s). Once you’re done, you need to run a new checkout.
